Introducing: Stripe Integration

We are incredibly excited to announce Stripe integration with Blinksale is LIVE. Accepting payments just got a whole lot easier.

Connecting is easy. If you have a Stripe account, all you have to do is sign into Blinksale, go to Payment Settings, and click the “Connect to Stripe” button under Credit Cards. Then, you will be redirected to Stripe, where you must either sign into their existing account, or sign up for a new one. After the process finishes on the Stripe end, you are redirected back to Blinksale, and are connected.

If you have any questions, we’re here and happy to help you.

More updates to come soon…

Can you advise on what type of integration was done with stripe? I am asking because i need to maintain PCI compliance. thank you

Hey Bill, all of Stripe PCI compliance features (found here) are embedded in our integration. Let us know if you need anything else. :)

Thanks for the reponse PAtrick. Although, actually, the link you direct me to just says THEY are PCI compliant and what THEY do. There is another page that says what YOU need to do to be covered under their PCI Level 1 – i.e., APIs you are using to connect to them and pass info their way via token and an SSL cert. Please confirm. Here is the correct link we should be referring to in this context. https://support.stripe.com/questions/do-i-need-to-be-pci-compliant-what-do-i-have-to-do

Yes, we do comply with the requirements of PCI in all interactions with Stripe:

    – We use Stripe.js to only obtain a token to be used for transactions, thus never touching CC information.
    – Serve the payment page over SSL.
    – Communicate with the Stripe backend over SSL.
